Nine Months

1. These monthly photoshoots are getting more and more challenging.
2. You have 3 teeth now! All on the bottom. You woke up at least once every hour for two nights in a row. I knew it had to be teething related because you've been a pretty good sleeper lately. Sure enough, up popped that cute little tooth (just one, next to your bottom middle teeth).
3. You are starting to clap. You love to hold onto my hands, your feet, two blocks and clap them together. You're beginning to clap your own hands together. Your fingers get intertwined each time.
4. You love to give open mouth kisses. It is ridiculously cute! I havetrained taught you to give kisses for claps. Every time you do it you hold onto my hands, we clap them together and say, "Yay, Charlie!" You think it's the best.
5. Papaw was your first babysitter at home while we went to Pat and Ashley Reid's wedding in Frederick, MD. You did not sleep at.all. and didn't drink much milk either. By the time we got home you looked like a zombie. You didn't even know how to react to seeing us.
6. You have the cutest bedhead.
7. November 25: The first time you waved bye to me at daycare by yourself! You stuck your little arm straight up in the air and shook your fist back and forth. You make me melt more and more every day. Ever since, you wave any time we say hi or bye-bye.
8. We celebrated our first Thanksgiving with you. We are so very thankful for you.
9. You know the sign for "more" when you're eating. You don't yet do it on your own, but you like to copy us when we do it and then you open your mouth like a little bird.
10. Your little feet are still SO chubby! We keep buying bigger socks because the elastics all dig into your ankles. The only shoes we can get on your feet are these little soft soled boots I found at Target.
11. Nine month stats: weight: 23 pounds 11 ounces (95th percentile), length: 27.5 inches (15th percentile), head circumference: 46.5cm (87th percentile)

Uh hmmmm....I was actually his first babysitter. You went out to dinner for your anniversary, it was only a couple hours but it counts. :-)
