The Christmas season was just as busy as always for us. Charlie got to pick out his first Christmas tree! He enjoyed looking at all the lights and ornaments on our decorated tree.





Following tradition, we went up to Pittsburgh to visit Steve's family the weekend before Christmas. It was the first time most of his relatives got to meet Charlie. Charlie enjoyed opening gifts (let's be honest, he mostly preferred the wrapping paper), looking at Uncle Jim's trains, and watching Johnny run around. Steve got to partake in the infamous horseradish making party for the first time. Uncle Jim grows the horseradish and then lots of men gather in Susie's garage to grate it. It was pretty amusing to watch so many watering eyes!



On Christmas Eve, we went to Steve's parents' house for dinner and presents. We were certainly spoiled with a new photo printer, an iPad, and lots of toys for Charlie!
