We have a lot of windows in our house. I love the natural light that comes in all day, but for privacy purposes, especially since the back of our house faces a road, we needed some blinds. We went to Home Depot right after we moved in and ordered blinds for almost all of our windows.

The blinds were on sale for 20% off and we were able to use a 10% off new movers coupon, as well. Also, we had saved up $900 in gift cards over the winter to put towards our blinds purchase. AND they had a special where you pay $119 and they come out and measure all your windows and install all your blinds for you. We ordered blinds for 27 windows...that makes a really good deal! I love good deals!


The only problem was that it took about 3 weeks once we ordered our blinds for them to be delivered and installed. So we had to come up with an alternative solution in the mean time. Luckily, they make these super cool temporary blinds. We decided to give them a try.

Pretty sweet, right??

We didn't have to wait too long for our new blinds (although it sort of felt like it at the time). We're really happy with our purchase!
