While we've still been busy saving money as best we can, we have been able to take advantage of some fun sports outings. We bought a half season of tickets for DC United this year. My dad has Nationals season tickets, so sometimes we get lucky and he offers them to us for a game. We were gifted two tickets to a Capitals game for our wedding. So we have at least been able to get out for a little fun recently.

One Friday evening, we headed down to the Nats game after work. It was a chilly night, but we had a great time. After every Friday night game there is a fireworks show - bonus entertainment!

We went to our first DC United game of the season. Steve and I made our famous homemade burgers; a little seasoning and BBQ sauce, mmmm they're the best!

Lucky for us, the one Caps game we went to, they scored 5 goals, which meant we each got 12 free wings at Glory Days! Free tickets to the game, plus free dinner the next night = awesome!
