1. You love to open and close doors and drawers. Kitchen cabinets that have pots or pans behind them are especially fun. You also really like to open and close the shower door. It makes a squeaky noise at one point and it seems as though you swing it back and forth to inspect it.

2. You pull yourself to standing on everything. The couch, baby gate, kitchen drawer, toilet (we're just glad you haven't learned how to play in the water yet).

3. You couldn't care less about finger foods and self feeding. You only want to eat purées from a spoon thankyouverymuch. Anything thicker than applesauce makes you gag. I imagine you'll outgrow this and won't be eating purées when you're 15. But when I see babies younger than you downing Cheerios I get a little nervous.

4. Every time we come to get you from your crib after you wake up, you look for your lovey and wave it around in the air to show us and say something that sounds like "there it is!"

5. When we ask, "How big is Charlie?" You throw both hands up in the air with a big smile and we say, "So big!"
6. Words you understand: kisses, clap, snuggle/hugs (for both you lay your head down on us for about a second), hi/bye bye, noses (we rub noses)

7. You LOVE to play with cars and trucks. When we say, "Vroom vroom" you repeat it in your own cute way.

8. Your top two teeth have poked through making a total of 5 teeth!
