We went to Steve's aunt's house and my aunt's house for two of our Thanksgiving dinners this year, and Steve and I hosted my mom's family at our house for our third Thanksgiving dinner. We decided to do our Thanksgiving dinner on Friday since our Thursday was already quite booked.

We were excited to prepare our house to host a holiday for our family, but since we had never cooked a turkey before, we were a little nervous to see how things would turn out. After researching many different ways to prepare a turkey, we finally decided on a recipe and hoped for the best.

Steve, being his adventurous self, decided he would make sweet rolls for the first time and surprisingly they were delicious!! They were actually the most requested item at the dinner table!

Luckily, everybody brought a side dish, which was a big help. It's always a challenge to have all the food ready at the same time, but my family helped tremendously!
